Hey there! I'm Brooke, the girl behind the camera! I'm a 24-year-old California girl, born and raised. I've been riding for about 9 years now but have been obsessed with horses for as long as I can remember. I ride recreationally for now but have hopes of one day competing. I currently reside in Fallbrook, CA with my family, my AQHA gelding Tex, 2 mini donkeys, our 3 dogs, and 3 cats. When I’m not working you can find me blasting music way too loud, playing PC games, or hanging out with all my animals. Check out the photos below to see all my animals!
My equestrian photography exploration started when I attended a Grand Prix in Del Mar, CA, and fell in love with capturing the beauty and power of these amazing animals. Ever since then, I've been inseparable from my camera and horses. I've now been photographing horses for 7 years and haven't stopped. My journey into portraiture began when I had to sell my first horse, Yogi. I was heartbroken that the only photos I had of us were cell phone pictures. That inspired me to offer fellow equestrians the gift of photographs to remember and cherish the story between them and their horses. The importance of this was reinforced in 2023 when I suddenly lost my mare, Indi. While no number of photos can ever capture everything, I hope to add timeless, sun-soaked images to your collection that you’ll treasure forever.
